Wednesday Women's Class

Every Wednesday evening, join Dhyan Jaijeet Kaur and a kind-spirited group of sisters to practice Women's Kundalini Yoga and Meditation. No previous yoga experience needed. Drop ins are welcome and classes are donation-based.

Kundalini is the primal energy of creation that is associated with Shakti, the divine feminine, and Kundalini Yoga is a spiritual path that deeply honors women’s psyche, cycles, and physiology. It has a wealth of physical sets and meditations specially meant for serving women's health, healing, and evolution. Yogi Bhajan said that women are 16 times more sensitive, intuitive, intelligent, and strategic than men. Women own it to themselves to take advantage of their inner creative potential and use their gifts in positive instead of self-sabotaging ways

Dhyan Jaijeet Kaur covers the foundations of the Women's teachings by Yogi Bhajan. She has experienced firsthand the benefits of Kundalini Yoga for hormonal and emotional balance, vitality and stress reduction after her twin pregnancy and postpartum depression. She loves teaching women how to relax in their true essence. As women, we are used to give in on a daily basis; in this class, you’re invited to feel and think about yourself, ignite your own light and radiance, and keep the spirit flowing!

Each session strengthens your nervous system to more effectively handle daily stress, and balances the glandular system to support your personal well-being. You will practice different breath exercises (pranayama) to relieve stress, yoga sets (kriya) to strengthen your physical well-being, and meditations to promote self-healing and relaxation.

This is a perfect opportunity for women at any age, physical condition or fitness abilities to explore the benefits of Kundalini Yoga to gain inner security by connecting to your divine spiritual power.
